How does nano-needling with Dr. Pen work?

Nano-needling creates micro-channels in the skin. With nano-needling, these channels are so small that you can perform this treatment safely every week. 

Nano-needling is much less invasive than microneedling and allows up to 97% product absorption. It doesn’t require any numbing cream and has zero downtime. 

The needles on a nano cartridge are hair-like in thickness, allowing you to trigger the healing response that increases collagen production without microneedling. 

Nano-needling allows for your products to be absorbed better and will give you more of an instant glow!

How to Use: 

Please note: Dr. Pen cartridges arrive in individually sealed, sterile pouches, sterilized with ethylene oxide gas and UV light during packaging. Secondary sterilization with isopropyl alcohol before use is entirely optional. Some users prefer this extra step for added peace of mind, and that is completely fine.

Here are the steps to microneedling with the cartridges:

1. The cartridge comes in a sterile pack.
2. Double-cleanse (cleanse and repeat) then wipe the skin clean. Fully tie your hair back, away from your face. 
3. Check your cartridge; ensure the needles are in perfect condition (i.e., not bent) and remove any debris.
4. Insert the cartridge into the microneedling pen until it clicks into place.
5. Set your desired needle depth and speed level.
6. Work in small areas and apply Peachaboo Hyaluronic Acid serum to each area before needling. This will help to ensure that the pen does not drag or pull on the skin. The recommended pattern to move the pen for best results is vertical, horizontal, and then diagonal in both directions. Using a light pressure and without dragging, repeat this motion over each area two times.
7. Safely dispose cartridge after every use.
